Stack FAQ
Why do you only verify a few stacks?
We only publish stacks whose bills we've actually verified. Nulx works with any S3-compatible storage, but we don't want to show you estimated numbers for a combination we haven't checked ourselves. If your stack isn't listed, run it through the calculator directly.
Isn't it a hassle paying two bills?
You do pay two bills — your storage bill and your Nulx bill. We're planning a monthly consolidated report that will show both on one screen. For now, place the two invoices side by side.
Can I switch stacks later?
Yes. Nulx encodes to standard HLS, so switching storage or CDN never requires re-encoding. The switching cost is $0 — you just move the source and renditions to the new bucket.
What about storage that isn't listed here?
Most storage with an S3-compatible API will work, including Wasabi, Backblaze B2, and MinIO. We just haven't personally verified the bill for it, so it isn't listed on this page. Enter your own rates into the calculator to check.
