Pay by card from your dashboard · Choose Starter or Team in Billing. The platform fee renews monthly; when the included hours are used, new encoding pauses with no extra charge; only a raised limit or automatic captions are billed separately after the month closes. Enterprise plans remain available by agreement.

High volume, security, and custom delivery
Design and build membership VOD, learning, event archives, and large video migrations.
Signing up gets you a look without a card: 2 hours of video preparation a month and up to 1 connected storage. Run out and new uploads pause instead of adding charges, and that is when you move up to a plan above.
Starter pauses new encoding for the month once its 40 hours are used. If you upload more than that every month, choose Team with 120 hours included.

Encoding is charged on how long the source video runs, never on the quality you get out. 480p or 1080p, one rendition or several, each hour beyond the included hours on an account with a raised limit is $0.60 ($0.45 on Team). Quality never costs extra.

NULX managed encoding temporarily reads the source while transcoding. Permanent sources and outputs remain in your R2 bucket, and playback runs from that bucket after processing. If processing must also stay in your environment, ask about desktop or customer-cloud encoding.
