Whose account stores the video files?
Sources and playback files are stored in the customer-owned video storage you connect. NULX keeps only the information needed to operate processing and playback.
Does video pass through NULX during processing?
Yes. With managed processing, NULX temporarily reads the source, prepares files for playback across devices, and writes the results back to customer-owned storage.
Is there absolutely no vendor lock-in?
We do not promise zero lock-in. Sources and playback files remain in customer-owned storage, but membership, billing, and service-specific metadata still need a migration plan.
Does the NULX monthly fee include every cost?
No. Outside storage and delivery services may charge separately from the NULX plan and optional video processing.
What leaves the system when automatic captions are enabled?
A low-bitrate audio extract, not the full video, is sent to an outside caption-processing service. Automatic captions are optional per video.
Can you migrate an existing video service?
Yes. We review current storage, media count and formats, metadata, access rules, and acceptable downtime before proposing a phased migration.
